Denis Diderot School

The creation of the Denis Diderot School is an initiative that fully demonstrates our commitment to education, it promotes a spirit of tolerance and curiosity, rational thought and scientific methods, solidarity and politeness, honesty and responsibility.

As its name suggests, the school is guided by the humanistic ideals of the Enlightenment. A great philosopher and critic, Denis Diderot defended the idea of a progressive education that encourages pupils as they explore and develop their abilities, not only in academic subjects but also in music, the arts and sports. Denis Diderot was one of the few enlighteners of the 18th century who provided education for the majority and not just for the privileged few.
